Job Description:
As a Quality Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to document creation and compliance programs supporting cGMP activities for manufacturing dietary supplements.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Create and issue Batch Production Records (BPR) for the Manufacturing Department.
Create and issue R&D Records (RDR) for the R&D Department.
Assist the R&D Department with updating procedures e.
g.
blending procedures.
Update Product Sample Log daily.
Receive raw material samples and liaison with other departments regarding raw material sample arrival.
Organize and update raw material test results e.
g.
assay, micro, etc.
Request and file documents from vendors (e.
g.
COA, SDS, flow charts).
Scan, store and organize electronic documents and file physical documents.
Check inventory and reorder supplies for the Quality Department.
Support the development and maintenance of quality control processes and procedures.
Perform in-process control check during manufacturing and packaging operations Other duties as needed.
Education Requirements:
Highschool Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience Requirements:
No experience is required; training will be provided.
Computer Literacy, Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Certification Requirements:
No Certification is necessary.
