Accounting Clerk- Brea, CA- Full-time
Compensation: $15.00-$16.00 Per Hour (DOE). CSG offers a benefit package with paid vacation, paid holidays and medical insurance. Schedule will be Monday-Friday. Job Duties
Responsible for daily invoices for all billable jobs and collections
Review required reports and verify all billable hours are billed weekly and invoice monthly jobs to clients
Audit required reports for accuracy and submit to Accounting Manager monthly or as required
Confirm charges are made to correct accounts/departments and make corrections/reclassifications as needed
Create billable work tickets when requested daily, weekly and monthly
Review work ticket reports; send invoices as work tickets are turned in from Operations
Perform daily deposits/postings
Responsible for collections
Resolve all invoice discrepancies and liaison with all vendor questions via phone or email ensuring good standing with the vendors
Process client/customer billing and make necessary follow up reminder calls to customers
General office work including filing, data entry, answering calls from vendors and customers
Able to assist in A/P and Payroll as needed
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support the Accounting Manager
Job Requirements
Minimum of a Associates Degree; some college Accounting courses a plus
2 years A/R experience; A/P and Payroll experience helpful
Working knowledge and understanding of billing and collections
10-key by touch; ability to perform accurate calculations
Attention to detail; multi-tasking skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer service oriented
Positive attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat experience
Team Software - Win Team experience a plus
