Warehouse/Shipping Personnel
Job Description:
LEDCONN Corp. is looking for warehouse/shipping personnel for efficient management of all shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Management of all outgoing shipping, receiving, and inventory control operations within the warehouse and ensures timely transfers of materials from the warehouse
Ensures that the warehouse is organized and kept clean in an efficient and effective manner
Continually matches inventory count in database system and physical inventory for accurate inventory count. Investigates and correct inventory discrepancies.
Maintains effective communication regarding ship dates, changes in delivery methods, arrival of materials, inventory shortages or overages, and other pertinent issues.
Perform quality incoming and outgoing shipment checks which include reviewing correct items, quantity, packaging, and method of shipment.
Quality control on shipment to review any damaging of products during shipping
Prepare shipments in accordance with carrier procedures including all required documentation, product labels and bills of lading.
Performs daily verification of counts, weights, and part numbers of incoming shipments.
Follows all safety rules and procedures are followed throughout the warehouse.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High School Graduate or further, No Specific Major Required
Must be able to speak English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Has the ability to prioritize tasks and requests in a fast paced office
Is a quick learner with strong multi-tasking skills
Must be able to use a computer with proficiency in MS Office
Knowledge and experience working with UPS, FedEx, and other carriers with understanding of carrier policies and regulations
PLUS: Has experience operating a forklift and pallet jack
